From this station, several embassies are within easy walking distance, including UK, USA, Vietnam and Netherlands. There are several notable restaurants along Soi Ruamrudee.

There are a number of hotels within a short walk of the station. There is a new (open 2011) Novotel right at the station, as well as the five star Conrad Hotel.
